Kimberly Kascak is an Instructor in the Office of Interprofessional Initiatives at the Medical University of South Carolina. Ms. Kascak is a co-founder of Pattison’s Academy, a non-profit public charter school specializing in children with severe disabilities. She is an author of the developing Pediatric Awareness and Sensory Motor Assessment. She focuses on academic innovation, online instructional design and interprofessional education. Ms. Kascak directs interprofessional courses required by students at the Medical University of South Carolina to teach concepts related to interprofessional education, teamwork and collaborative practice.

This Lightning Talk best addresses the theme of Evaluation, Assessment and the Use of Informatics in IPE.   The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) offers students and faculty across six colleges many opportunities to engage in interprofessional education initiatives.
