Arthur Shaw, DDS

Dr. Shaw received his DDS from UT Health San Antonio and practiced in the private sector before returning to UT Health San Antonio in 2017. He serves as clinical faculty for 3rd and 4th year dental students which involves teaching and evaluating their clinical practice on a daily basis. Additionally, he serve with CMDA (Christian Medical Dental Association) where we provide medical and dental treatment in a variety of mission/ outreach settings. These events include medical, dental, nursing, and dental hygiene students as well as licensed practitioners all working side by side.

The oral health examination is proposed to be essential to medical education and a Healthy People 2020 indicator, though not routinely taught.
