C. Kim Stokes, DMSc, PA-C is a clinical assistant professor at East Carolina University where she is the Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. In her role, she also serves on the IPE task force for the College of Allied Health Sciences and represents the college in health science division level IP collaboration. She has conducted IPE research with PT and OT and has been published in the Journal of Interprofessional Education and Practice. She is currently a mentor with the AIHC. Her interests include faculty development, as well as rural and global health initiatives.

Faculty development programs improve teaching skills and the learning environment. Likewise, interprofessional faculty development programs have been implemented to improve interprofessional education and collaboration.
