Dr. Casey Hamm is an Assistant Clinical Professor at University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she serves as the Coordinator of Interprofessional Education for the College of Optometry. Additional responsibilities include the supervision of student clinicians during patient care, and instruction of various ocular disease-related didactic and laboratory courses. Dr. Hamm serves on the Interprofessional and Collaborative Practice (IPECP) Committee of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a member of the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC).

As a newly appointed IPE Coordinator within my college I had two primary goals: first, expand the integration of IPE themes and competencies within courses that I am teaching, and second, develop an actionable plan to expand the IPE program within the College of Optometry in collaboration with other health professions programs at UMSL and within the St. Louis region.
