Chris Gaspard, BS, MSLS, is the Associate Director of Liaison Services at the UT Health San Antonio Briscoe Library and serves as the Liaison Librarian to the Long School of Medicine. She assists all UT Health faculty, staff, students, and residents and has provided search support for many research projects. Chris also provides health information literacy instruction on evidence-based practice and database use both in the classroom and online. She earned a B.S. degree in Health Education from Texas A&M University and her master’s degree in Library Science with a specialization in Health Informatics from University of North Texas.

BACKGROUND: The next generation of health care workers will require interprofessional education (IPE) to prepare for interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP).
