Dr. Lynn Jackson is Associate Professor and Director of Field Education for the TCU Department of Social Work. In addition to internship responsibilities, she is also the Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives for the Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences. As such she oversees the strategic plan, college-wide IPE activities, diversity and inclusion, and global initiatives. Lynn is licensed with an LCSW and has 40 years of professional social work experience where she worked and trained other social workers as part of interprofessional teams.

In 2009, The University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) at Fort Worth, Texas, created the Seniors Assisting in Geriatric Education (SAGE) program. The goals of the program were to strengthen healthcare students’ skill in the care of older adults through experiential education, to increase interprofessional collaboration, and to engage with older adults in the community.
