Danial is a third-year medical student with a passion for leadership and education in healthcare. He has served as class president, SGA Council Diversity Chair, IEPA Student-Faculty Advisory founding member, and is currently the IPE Chair for SGA and the student-led Unity Clinic founder & chair. Through his leadership roles, Danial has led various initiatives centered around diversity and inclusion with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration. As a first-generation American, Danial recognizes the importance of communication and understanding between different populations of people. He believes healthcare has the unique power to transcend our differences and bring people together.

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:

Using the example of the Unity Clinic at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, this seminar will introduce participants to methods for student engagement in designing and implementing student-led clinical practice for interprofessional clinical learning. The Unity Clinic aims to provide meaningful, interprofessional, clinical experience with real-world applications.
