Dr. Dayna Herrera is Professor & Department Chair for the College of Nursing at California Baptist University. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice ( DNP) at Rush University. Dr. Herrera structured her doctoral project to the direct benefit of healthcare outcomes; she focused her efforts toward the effective provision of interprofessional education (IPE), envisioning and formulation of the IPE faculty committee; Called2Collaborate. She has been instrumental in the integration and promotion of IPE through professional presentations, showcasing the university and healthcare at the national level as a nursing leader in IPE, simulation and informatics.
