Emme Lopez is a Senior Librarian at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she serves the School of Nursing as an embedded liaison. Emme earned a Master’s in Library Science from Emporia State University in 2009. She attended the esteemed “Nuts and Bolts” systematic review workshop at the University of Pittsburgh, learned the systematic review process through application with methods expert Margaret Foster, and consults on scoping and systematic reviews for faculty and students.

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration (LINC), is a requirement for institutional accreditation designed to advance interprofessional education (IPE) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio). All five schools (dentistry, graduate biomedical sciences, health professions, medicine, and nursing) are actively engaged in achieving QEP goals: to integrate IPE activities into programs’ curricula and to cultivate IPE knowledge and skills in faculty, staff, and students.
