Hannah Maxfield received her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is the Co-Director of the Interprofessional Teaching Clinic housed within the Family Medicine Clinic at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

As per accreditation mandates for many professions, interprofessional education (IPE) has become an important effort for many institutions. Over the past few years, greater attention has been placed on interprofessional learning in practice (LIP) to effectively equip health profession students with the collaborative skills needed to achieve the Quadruple Aim.
