Jennifer Mackey, MA, CCC-SLP is the Director of Clinical Education for the Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She teaches Early Intervention to interdisciplinary students and is the Coordinator of the Early Intervention Concentration. Jennifer has worked with the Massachusetts Department of Health to support higher education programs in recruiting and training students and supervisors in the early intervention setting.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
Through a collaboration with our community's Early Intervention (EI) Program, the MGH Institute of Health Professions (IHP) created a new weekly parent-toddler group which incorporated the disciplines of physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech-language pathology (SLP). Graduate students collaborated with EI teachers in planning and implementing group and caregiver activities, including sharing developmental information with caregivers.
