Jennifer Prisco is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and a Coordinator of Experiential Education at MCPHS University. She has worked in higher education for over 6 years and currently is Co-Chair for the School of Pharmacy Assessment Committee, active within the Curricular Revision Taskforce for the pharmacy program, and has years of experience serving on the Pharmacy Curriculum Committee. She spent 5 years in the outpatient pharmacy setting prior to her joining the higher education community. Scholarly efforts include focusing time in areas of collaboration, assessment, experiential education, and global/international pharmacy education.

Background: Most pharmacy student experiential IPE occurs in a naturally occurring and non-deliberate fashion. Opportunities for interprofessional teamwork may be limited to the rotational environment and access to other disciplines and their students.
