Dr. Julie Booth is a Clinical Associate Professor for the Quinnipiac University Physical Therapy Department. She is also the Associate Director of Clinical Education and Undergraduate Program Director for the Physical Therapy Department. Her area of expertise is pediatrics. She has served as a faculty co-advisor for global solidarity trips to Nicaragua and Guatemala with occupational therapy, physical therapy, and nursing students. Her scholarly interests include interprofessional local and global community engagement.

Quinnipiac University’s (QU) Center for Interprofessional (IP) Healthcare Education offers over 40 experiences serving over 3500 students annually. However, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Spring of 2020, QU transitioned to online education and all scheduled on-ground IP events were canceled. Despite the immediacy of the transition, the faculty recognized the need to prioritize and offer IP education (IPE).
