Karrie Osborne, MS, RN is the Director of Clinical Simulation at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. In this role, she works with faculty in the College of Health and other partners to develop and implement simulation activities. Prior to this, Karrie maintained a full-time faculty position in the School of Nursing at Ball State University. In addition, she practiced as a registered nurse in the critical care setting at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. Karrie received a BS in nursing (2001) and an MS with a focus in nursing education (2012) from Ball State University.

Background: Teamwork is critical for improved health outcomes during a crisis, like a virus outbreak. Individual team members need to be aware of their personal values and the guiding principles associated with high performance teamwork.
