Le’Keisha D. Johnson is an administrator and student affairs practitioner who collaborates with campus-wide leadership to create impactful programming and services for students. With nearly 16 years of experience, she understands the importance of collaboration in student affairs, as well as patient care and research. Le’Keisha has secured university grant funding the past 5 years for the Interprofessional Leadership Scholars Program, a one semester co-curricular program that gives students the skills needed to work in an interprofessional team environment. Le’Keisha holds a BBA in Management and an MBA in Project Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is committed to advancing interprofessional education (IPE). This effort is best demonstrated through our Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration (LINC). The QEP involves all schools (dentistry, graduate biomedical sciences, health professions, medicine, and nursing) and is required for institutional accreditation. BACKGROUND: COVID-19-associated social distancing practices necessitated significantly altering a previously planned large-scale interprofessional education (IPE) activity for approximately 1000 students at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. As a result, we developed and piloted an innovative, self-directed online learning experience emphasizing student engagement.
