Dr. Leticia Bland, DHSc, MPAS, PA-C joined the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Health San Antonio in 2016 as an Assistant Professor/Adjunct Clinical Coordinator; currently serves as the Admissions Chair. Her teaching focus and areas of interest are promoting diversity and inclusion, interprofessional and community service learning, and faculty development. She co-directed the implementation of TeamSTEPPS for the School of Health Professions; currently the co-investigator for two community service-learning projects supported by Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration grants aimed at promoting student skills in critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and building relationships in the community they serve.

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration (LINC), is a requirement for institutional accreditation designed to advance interprofessional education (IPE) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio).
