Lisa Pierce is the Director of Advanced Practice Clinical Education and Fellowship Programs at OSF HealthCare. She is also serving in the role as Operational Director of the Pandemic Health Worker Program, Acute COVID at Home, and OSF Digital Hospital at Home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, she is an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for Almost Home Kids. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, IL and her Graduate Degrees from Rush University College of Nursing in Chicago, IL. Lisa is currently enrolled in Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville’s MBA program.

Interprofessional Education (IPE) was integrated into one post graduate transition to practice program, also known as Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship, for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) fellows. The program, led by a faculty of APRNs and a physician, was challenged to transition traditional in-seat curriculum to e-learning platforms during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
