Dr. Hildebrand is Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy (OT) and Interim Program Director for the Doctor of OT program. She has been awarded the 2018 Excellence in Teaching Award for the IHP Department of OT, a 2016 Partners in Excellence Team Award for S-IHP Comprehensive Aphasia Program Planning Team, and the 2013 North Carolina OT Award for Outstanding Teaching Practice. Her research interests include intervention with caregivers of persons with stroke, participation in people with aphasia post-stroke, and work adaptation for farmers with disabilities.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
The IMPACT Practice Center (IPC), a pro bono clinic with five uniprofessional centers providing student clinical experiences, operates with a collaborative goal of integrating interprofessional education in an evolving collaborative practice environment. The IPC opened in the Fall of 2017 with each center moving its clinical activities to a new shared space and modified its organizational structure in 2019 adding a part-time IPC Director to the existing Directors of the five uniprofessional centers and Practice Manager.
