Meghan Weber is a Clinical Education Specialist for Advanced Practice Provider Education at OSF HealthCare and program faculty for the OSF HealthCare Advanced Practice Provider Primary Care Fellowship. In addition to her educator role, she practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner for OSF HealthCare Medical Group. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing from OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, Peoria, IL. Meghan is currently enrolled in the Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville’s dual DNP/ MBA program with a focus on advanced practice fellowship and preceptor development.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
Interprofessional Education (IPE) was integrated into one post graduate transition to practice program, also known as Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship, for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) fellows. The program, led by a faculty of APRNs and a physician, was challenged to transition traditional in-seat curriculum to e-learning platforms during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
