Melanie Stone, MPH, MEd directs the Community Service Learning program at UT Health San Antonio, which promotes student and faculty engagement with community organizations in service projects to benefit medically underserved populations. Melanie is adjunct faculty at UT School of Public Health. Formerly, Melanie supervised an outreach program, coordinated public health research, and managed outreach and education for a county hospital financial assistance program. Melanie earned a bachelor's degree from Trinity University and master's degrees in Public Health from UT School of Public Health and Education from Texas State University. She is working towards a Doctor of Public Health degree.

This effort is best demonstrated through our Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration (LINC). The QEP involves all schools (dentistry, graduate biomedical sciences, health professions, medicine, and nursing) and is required for institutional accreditation.
