Patricia A. Cuff, M.S., R.D., M.P.H. is Senior Program Officer for the Board on Global Health at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine where she directs the Global Forum on Innovation in Health Professional Education. A position_x000D_
she has held since 2012. Patricia has directed and co-directed multiple studies at the National Academies including Options for Overseas Placement of U.S. Health Professionals, and Enhancing the Behavioral and Social Science Content of Medical School Curricula. Prior to directing the forum, Patricia was the Country Liaison to the Uganda National Academy of Sciences on the African Science Academies capacity-building project.

There is strong evidence for taking an interprofessional, team-based approach in the treatment and management of obesity.
