Dr. Kowalsky is an assistant professor for the department of Health & Kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He received his PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. Currently, he serves as the exercise science pre-physical therapy program coordinator for the department and sits on the board of directors for the American College of Sports Medicine Texas regional chapter as a non-medicine representative. His research experience is in cardiometabolic health and sedentary behavior. Classes taught include exercise testing & prescription, exercise physiology, Exercise & chronic disease/disability, as well as aging and physical activity.

Leadership/Mentorship: The Rangel College of Pharmacy (RCOP) is a dual campus program located on the Texas A&M University Kingsville campus and Texas A&M University College Station campus. In Kingsville, the program is not affiliated nor in the same geographical vicinity as other healthcare programs.
