Samantha Kelts is a fourth year BSN student at Case Western Reserve University Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, originally from Boston, Massachusetts. She is also a passionate student activist, working with Partners In Health and the Ohio Student Association to address health disparities both locally and globally. Samantha aspires to work as a pediatric nurse, build a career in public health policy, and inspire other nurses to combat structural inequities that lead to poor health outcomes.

FRESH Fairfax is a student-led, asset-based community initiative created with the Fairfax neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. The project is a partnership between the Cleveland Clinic (CCF), Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) health professional students (Medicine, Physician Assistant, Nursing, Social Work and Public Health) and Fairfax community residents.
