Wendy B. Stav received a BS in occupational therapy from Quinnipiac University and a PhD in occupational therapy from Nova Southeastern University. For more than 20 years her work focused on driving and community mobility including collaboration with the AOTA, the AMA, and federal agencies. Recently her research focus shifted to occupation-based practice. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. In 2009 she was awarded as a Fellow of the AOTA for advancement of driving and community mobility practice and she earned the 2018 Distinguished Professor award in the Health Care Sciences at Nova Southeastern University.
