Marisa Vaskalis_x000D_ Marisa Vaskalis is the Director of Interprofessional Education (IPE) at Campbell University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Malone University in Canton, Ohio. She has served as Curriculum Coordinator at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and most recently as the Medical Education Specialist for the Campbell University Physician Assistant Program. As Director of IPE, Marisa coordinates curricular events, manages assessment and evaluation, collaborates with students and faculty members who champion IPE in their specific health sciences programs, oversees official IPE Office communications, and more as she serves the IPE Office.

The Campbell University Office of IPE (CUIPE) hosts four major IPE events each academic year, for which space is reserved on the academic calendar of the Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Each event is attended by all CPHS students along with different classes within CUSOM, the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Background: Longitudinal feedback from students collected by The Campbell University Office of IPE (CUIPE) has indicated a need for direct learning pertaining to the roles and responsibilities of the different health sciences professionals on the healthcare team.
